Theory Driving Test Training |

Drivers who are wanting to get behind the wheel for the
very first time need to pass a theory test then a practical
driving test before they can achieve a full driving licence.
50 multiple choice questions is your theory test and is
the first step you must take, these questions combine
a variety of driving and road safety topics. |

1st lesson Cockpit
drill Here we go through various steps that are
necessary - without the correct knowledge of the car your
driving skills will be limited, How to use controls, how
to check vision, run through road safety, theory and road
rules.
2nd lesson Moving off Start your engines!
This lesson will have you driving on the streets, selecting
safe place to stop, this lesson |

| includes clutch control and ease n squeeze (balance
of gas and clutch) good for slow traffic and junctions. |

3rd lesson Drive for life
consolidate earlier learning and work out any problems i.e.
steering-adding gear changes stop and start, hill starts and
parking, these early stage lessons may stretch over several
sessions. Driving lesson sessions continue until pupil is confident
usually taken on quiet roads like Oliver's Mount except in dark
winter evenings were young people especially girls who maybe
worried going with a stranger. |

What will I learn in a refresher
course? |
1st lesson Assessment We need to know what level
of driving skills you have obtained so this lesson we
would be assessing and getting to know each other at the
end of the session we would let you know were improvements
could be made this is not about passing a test its about
gaining confidence |

2nd lesson Drive confidently
All following lessons will be going through all the areas where
you can make improvements and brushing up on all safety road
tips so that you can enjoy your experience on the road for life. |

| Who needs a refresher course? |
Example: recently I was able
to help a lady who was retired, her husband had passed away
and she needed to use the car for shopping.
We followed through with recent road rules then after briefly
showing her some driving skills we were able to help her gain
confidence to go shopping and park safely.
Following lessons continued so that she could learn to cope
with faster roads and duel
carriageways were she could drive to York so that she could
visit friends - this was not
for a test this was to improve her quality of life. Today she
enjoys driving, visiting friends, going shopping and having
fun. |

Pass
Plus Training |
Pass plus
is a training scheme designed to improve your driving
skills training you to become a safer driver. Pass Plus
encourages the skills of hidden benefits for you; quality
driving experience, driving skills, driving style, reducing
crash risks and some times car insurance premiums*
Pass Plus places importance on improving
& developing your practical driving skills which requires
a minimum of six hours training. |

Although there is no examination or written
tests at the end you are evaluated through out the whole process.

| Extras for our driving students |
The vehicle we use in our driving school is a new Renault Clio;
this has been supplied by popular Renault manufacturers and
is fully prepared for driving instruction and driver safety
with duel controls. This means that if a difficulty occurs (and
occasionally it does but is not a problem so please don't worry)
while the learner is at the wheel we can instantly take control
of the car and guide you to safety until you can regain control
again with confidence. |
